Snake geography in the world
Deadly snake hides behind children's bedroom furniture,
A couple in Australia were shocked to find a venomous snake sliding into their child’s bedroom.
The snake, identified as a small eastern brown, was found in Flinders View, Queensland.
Snake Catchers came to the couple's home after being informed about the Ipswich & Logan reptile. The video of them catching the snake was posted on Facebook.
In the clip, you can see the snake hiding behind some furniture before trying to escape from the person who recorded the video.
"Here, we've got an eastern brown snake in a young man's bedroom. It's time to leave the mate," the snake catcher says in the video.
Reptile repellents reported that these types of snakes usually enter homes through open doors and windows. They can slip through gaps in garage doors or be carried by pets.
Eastern brown - one of the nine species of brown snakes living in Australia - is considered the most dangerous reptile in the world. They belong to the genus Pseudonaja.
“Snakes do not eat humans and they do not aggressively bite harmful things. Their venom is used to suppress prey that makes the snake inedible, ”said Diane Wet, an Australian geologist who oversees the Northern Territorial Zoo. "If their only escape route is to cross a man with a shrine, they may act in the only way they can."
The geography of Australia has indicated that the venom of the eastern brown snake is the second most venomous of the world's land snakes based on experiments on rats.
Earlier this month, a deadly snake was found in the lounge of a house in Australia. Joshua Castle, a snake catcher, arrived at his friend's mother's house in Kapulchar, Queensland, after being told the snake had been cut into his lounge.
"My friend's mother called me because there was a snake in my lounge. She's from New Zealand, so she did not know what kind of snake it was," she told the Fort International Business Times. The TV unit in the lounge could be seen hiding the eastern brown snake.
